Jody Young Jr., PE
Jody Young Jr., PE, a Florida native, has lived in the Sarasota/Bradenton area since 2006. With an educational background in Civil-Structural engineering and over 15 years of structural engineering experience, Jody serves as YHE’s managing member and Senior Engineer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Civil-Structural Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
Jody have 20 years of experience and am currently licensed in Florida, Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Ohio, Massachusetts, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, and Washington DC.
Jody’s professional background includes more than 1,000 single and multi-story residences, curtainwall and storefront systems, and commercial development projects.
In addition to commercial build-out projects, FEMA renovations, product development, and multi-phase structural renovations, he also collaborates with coastal engineers to design and construct various coastal structures and seawalls. As a third-generation builder, Jody strives to create a customer-centered project, guiding and assisting throughout the building process.
Stephen Hedrick II, PE
Stephen Hedrick II, PE, has worked in the Sarasota/Bradenton area since 2003. With an educational background in Civil-Structural engineering and over 20 years of structural engineering experience, Stephen serves as YHE’s managing member and Senior Engineer. Earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia Tech University and a Master of Science in Civil-Structural Engineering from University of Tennessee. Stephen is currently licensed in Florida. His professional background includes single and multi-story residences, educational, military and government facilities, and commercial development projects. Stephen’s aptitude for technology has helped him develop and implement BIM/Revit standards in the engineering workplace.
Gagan Patidar
A dedicated structural engineer, Gagan began his engineering journey in India, earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Medi-Caps University. Pursuing further specialization, he obtained a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Florida. With 2.5 years of industry experience in India and a growing portfolio in the USA, Gagan is currently focused on the design and development of wood-frame, masonry, and concrete residential structures. Proficient in industry-standard design software such as ETABS, AutoCAD, and Revit, Gagan combines technical expertise with a detail-oriented approach to deliver efficient, structurally sound, and aesthetically pleasing solutions. His portfolio reflects a commitment to quality, innovation, and client-focused design.
Naga Prasanth Medikonda, EI
Naga is a highly skilled Civil Engineer with 7 years of experience in the construction and structural industry. Naga earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI. Throughout his career, Naga has worked on numerous projects across various sectors including custom homes, commercial and educational facilities, mix-used, athletic, and recreational buildings. Naga is well-versed in the latest engineering software and technologies, as is committed to staying up to date with the latest developments in the field.
